Round Three
Another hard round for both teams. Division 1 went down to a well oiled University 4-1. After being 3-nil down at half time it was a great effort in the second half to get a goal back and hold them out for most of the half. Division 2 also went down to Tarrawanna but playing well and scored some beautiful goals. Well done girls. Round Two After a bit of rain Division 2 got a sleep in with the game cancelled due to the Uni ground being unplayable. Division 1 had a hard game against Albion Park, going down 2-1 after an early 1-nil lead. Thankyou to those division 2 girls who came to play for Division 1. Round One Well done on the weekend girls. Division 1 came away with a hard earned 3-2 win against Kemblawarra, while division 2 played hard to go down 5-0 against Wests. Thankyou to the girls who made it back to the Towradgi Park Bowls and Recreation Club for a celebration after the match. Team Selection The teams for 2012 have been seleceted and can be seen by clicking here. We will have a team in first division and a team in second division. Trial Game with Russell Vale Well done to those that played on Sunday against Russell Vale in a fairly low key trial game. We scored some good goals, which is always nice, and the game practice was certainly good for us. We are sorry to hear that a Rssell Vale player has broken her ankle and wish her a speedy recovery.
